Our story

While travelling through India, we were captivated by the rich textures, intricate weaves, and timeless beauty of the fabrics found in local markets and artisan workshops. These were not just materials, they were living expressions of craft, culture, and tradition.

Inspired to share this artistry, Zulfi sets out to bring these authentic, handcrafted fabrics to both modern and traditional British homes and wardrobes. Each piece, whether a throw, quilt or jacket, is created on traditional looms by skilled artisans using techniques passed down through generations.

Our founders

Zulfi was founded by Daf and Zulf, who first met at school and have been friends ever since. Over time, a shared interest in good design, craftsmanship, and building something of their own grew into a clear idea: bring high-quality, well-made fabrics to Britain, with a focus on thoughtful sourcing and timeless style.

We’re hands-on with everything we do, from finding the right materials to shaping the look and feel of the brand. What drives us is simple: a commitment to quality and a genuine belief that well-made products speak for themselves.
